The Student Adoption Programme (SAP) is a mandate for all student teachers at the college. The programme requires student teachers to adopt one or two students to follow their studies in elementary or high school education from their panchayath, municipality, or corporation ward. The student teachers have to contact the selected students to support their educational and personal needs throughout the two-year course. This is not a financial aid support system, but purely to support guidance in the scholastic development of the students. In other words, this programme provides mentoring and helps them become educationally empowered.

- Understand the educational status of the village ward
- Compile information gathered from the families for future use.
