The major aim is to bring the old students of KPPM College of Teacher Education, Anakkayam under one forum for the exchange of experience, dissemination of knowledge and talents amongst its members and also for the furtherance of fellowship, and advancement of professional knowledge in teaching and education of the community and country. The object of these bylaws is to carry out the mission and objectives Alumni Association of KPPM College of Teacher Education, Anakkayam as outlined in the aforementioned Memorandum and Articles of Association, in general, and in particular, to provide an organization through which the Alumni of the KPPM College of Teacher Education, faculty, management and students of the institute can interact with each other for mutual benefit and the benefit of society at large. These bylaws specify the structure, rules of process, and procedures for the proper governance of the organization, following the guidelines of the Indian Societies Act of 1965
OBJECTIVES OF THE ALUMNI
- Foster alumni pride and enhance the reputation of the College.
- Enrich the emotional bondage amongst the Students, Alumni, Faculty and Management
- Extend maximum help to the College in the placements and internships of students in reputed organizations.
- Institute awards for the Alumni for their contribution to the College and Society.
- Conduct camps, Job fairs, donate books and do community development, environmental cleaning, and eco-friendly activities.
- Support poor and needy student teachers in the nearby villages for their education, social upliftment, their healthy life-style.
- Conduct seminars, conferences, workshops and meetings of teaching professionals and faculties for the promotion of professional knowledge and skills in teaching as well as in education
- Represent and participate in seminars, conferences, workshops or meetings conducted by various educational agencies, to contribute to the furtherance of the objectives of the Association.
- To keep the old students informed of the growth and development of the institution
- Recommend and support College‐sponsored alumni activities.
