The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program offered at Calicut University Center for Professional Development in Education (CPDE) is a two-year course designed to prepare graduates to become certified teachers for secondary and higher secondary classes. Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), it focuses on foundation subjects and teaching methodologies via classroom instructions and school internships.
B. ED Eligibility Criteria
To apply for Calicut University B.Ed admission, the candidates must fulfil the Calicut University B.Ed. eligibility is given below.
Completed three-year bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories)
The graduate degree should be from a recognized university under UGC/AICTE
Admission Process
Application Form – Once notified, candidates must apply online within the stipulated timelines. Application fee payment needs to be completed as applicable.
Rank list- Based on preferences filled in the application form, available ranks, and number of seats, provisional rank list will be published and provisional admission will be granted.
Verification – Students must physically verify all original academic and personal documents within deadlines at allocated colleges.
